Applied to the activities of the organizations whose central function is quality control, this series aims to realize customer satisfaction and continued improvement.

KES

KES : STEP2 KES: Certification of the KES Environmental Management Standard Step 2 KES2-0110

KES : An environment management system. It controls, and intends to reduce, the adverse influences that the management of businesses or other organizations may have on the environment. Run by the nonprofit KES Environmental Organization, KES is a third-party certification intended for medium- and small-sized companies.     STEP2 : To promote environmental conservation, the KES Step 2 requires the systems to be built for individual requirements that are the same as those specified in ISO 14001.

The Yagi Plant of Futaku Precision Machinery Industry Company understands that the environmental conservation of the Earth is the most important mission common to the entire human population, and makes efforts to reduce adverse effects on the environment throughout the plant.

[Policies]
The Yagi Plant of Futaku Precision Machinery Industry Company promotes environmental management actions based on the following policies to reduce environmental influences of activities, products and services related to the production and sales of precision mechanical components used in such facilities as semiconductor-chip manufacturing facilities, thus ensuring coexistence with the Earth and natural environment.

1.Futaku keeps aware of environmental influences related to its activities, products and services, promotes the prevention of environmental contamination, and proceeds with the continued improvement of environmental management activities.
2.Futaku complies with environmental laws and other regulations concerning its activities, products and services.
3.Among the environmental effects concerned with its activities, products and services, Futaku commits itself to the following important environmental conservation efforts.

(3) Reduction in chemical use

4.For each employee to be actively committed to environmental influence reduction actions, Futaku is convinced that these environmental policies must be known to all employees and promotes such policies to the public.

Futaku sets objectives, reviews them periodically, and promotes the environmental management system to achieve the above policies.
