We developed metal needles that use beta titanium and pure titanium. Compared with stainless steel, titanium is more resistant to corrosion, and has superior bending resistance.

We custom-design them according to customer needs, such as pipe bore diameter, outside diameter, length and needle tip shape (edge shape).

Composite technology

This is a double-wall nozzle. Its individual components are cut out and joined by laser welding. The internal bore surface is ground. Futaku's expertise is integrated in this product.

Material: Ni, PdNi

Hole diameter: 10um, Pitch: 20um. The hole shape is arranged in an equilateral-triangular layout. It is approximately 50um thick, and also features an micro shape with high tensile strength and density.

*It's possible to make various shapes such as round, square, hexagon or so. the size of the hole is available from 5um.

This nozzle is created by cutting from a single titanium alloy material (DAT 51).

It features excellent elasticity, but is highly resistant to bending and corrosion.
Nozzle shape: Octagon of 0.35 mm in opposite side distance
Depth: 0.15 mm
Shaped in two steps: bore diameter, 0.1 mm; depth, 0.15 mm; flange diameter, 0.2 mm; and flange depth 10 mm

Hybrid Pipes PEEK & SUS

 

We produce pipes of various strengths by combining different materials including metals, such as titanium and stainless steel, and resin.

 

The pipe shown in this photograph is a hybrid pipe nozzle made by combining PEEK and stainless steel. PEEK provides the pipe with superior chemical resistance, and steel adds strength. The development of this hybrid nozzle was enabled by laser welding, which does not influence PEEK.
