Comparison among beta titanium, titanium alloy, and stainless steel metals in physical properties

Beta titanium has the advantages of titanium, which are light weight (in comparison) and high resistance to corrosion, and also features high strength (high tensile strength) and superior spring characteristics (low Young's modulus), satisfying various needs.

Compared with stainless steel (SUS), titanium is a high-performance material, featuring light weight, high strength and high corrosion resistance.
High-strength beta titanium has been used in many fields recently. Our original technologies succeeded in producing beta titanium with shape stabilization characteristics. Futa·Q produced shape-stabilized beta-titanium tubes, which are evaluated highly.

Futaku had bending tests of beta titanium tubes and SUS316 tubes under parallel shift and perpendicular weighting.

Unlike beta-titanium tubes, SUS-316 tubes are not shape-stabilized. SUS-316 tubes were bent in both tests (the shape was not restored).
