FUTA-Q has established a new production line in the clean environment in the second building of the Yagi Factory, located Nantan City in Kyoto. The line is to manufacture long-tapered wires used as a functional component such as a core wire of medical instruments including catheters or guide wires.\n<\/p>\n

Into this dedicated line, we have introduced manufacturing facility such as a straightening machine, heat treatment furnace, centerless grinder, and self-made inspection device.
\nWith these manufacturing equipment, multistage long-tapered wires with a cone shaped tapering point can be produced from a wire.
\nProcesses such as jointing with a metal part or resin part, or coating are also available.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Curls on a wire caused by wound are removed through the straightening process in which the wire is pulled through several rollers.<\/p><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The heat treatment gives a wire stable characteristics and high quality, resulting in no deformations or distortions on it.<\/p><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Centerless grinding<\/p><\/td>\n

The gap between the grinding stone and the regulating wheel is controlled by a computer program so that a wire with multistage tapers or a long taper can be obtained.<\/p>

The diameters of a wire, till its end point, are inspected using a high precision digital measurement tool.\nThe straightness of a wire is checked through rolled on a surface table.\n<\/p><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
