The photo below shows an example of the tapered wire with multi-diameters which gradually become narrow from 0.4 to 0.04 mm. There seems to be no significant difference between their meanings, isn\u2019t it?\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolishing process\u201d is used for a process like burnishing using abrasive grains, while \u201cgrinding process\u201d is used for a process like scraping off the work\u2019s surface using a rotating grinding stone. Some people, however, call the process using a grinding stone \u201cpolishing\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>So, the other question come to mind: how should we call the process that gives us the both effects of \u201cpolishing\u201d and \u201cgrinding\u201d at the same time?\n<\/p>\n<p>\nWhy not be consistent?<br>\nBoth machining methods are surely indispensable processes for manufacturing high quality products for us to meet our clients\u2019 needs.\n\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is centerless grinding?
