The flexible yet resistant NiTi alloy is an ideal material for catheter instruments. For alleviating its expensiveness, FUTA-Q utilizes the joining technology of dissimilar materials for joining stainless steel and NiTi. For this purpose, we have newly developed \u201cspiral joining technology\u201d in additoin to soldering and laser welding, to expand the range of the applications.<\/p>\n

Surface treatment\/polishing determining product’s quality<\/h3>\n

An optimal surface treatment process has to be selected to achieve the required surface condition. This issue demonstrates the differences in surface conditions of SUS304 flat plates subjected to a major surface polishing, and shows that the surfaces having the same Ra values show different appearances depending on the polishing method.<\/p>\n
