The world’s first forceps developed by Dr. Eiji Kanehira of Medical Topia Soka and FUTAQ was announced recently at The international Society for Medical Innovation and Technology (SMIT) in Baden-Baden, Germany.

According to the philosophy of SMIT, they provided a distinguished platform for the exchange of experiences and innovative ideas between basic research and technology sciences, as well as clinical sciences and high-tech industry. Up to date research results was presented by an international forum of outstanding scientists in the field of medical technology and computer science, endoscopic and minimal-invasive surgery, interventional radiology, computer-assisted and image-guided therapy and further innovative topics.
